agnetic Probe Stations
Manual probe stations for research and small-scale production for measurements in a magnetic field arbitrarily oriented relative to the substrate in three dimensions.
The world's first probe stations models MPS-C-300 and MPS-C-350 are capable of measuring in a fully controlled 3D magnetic field on entire substrates up to 100 and up to 150 mm without prior separation. Microxact's unique design allows you to analyze and test spintronics, electronic devices at the nanoscale, and materials and devices where a magnetic field is required to make measurements.
Station features:
- Testing on wafers up to 100 mm (option up to 150 mm)
- Manual control (two-way positioners) / Z-alignment, micropositioners
- Manual stage with XY movement - up to 36 x 36 mm
- Repeatability of XY stage movement - 2.5 µm
- Breakdown voltage ≥ 500V.
- Isolation (from holder to ground) > 1GB.
- Dimensions:
Station: 58cm W x 50cm D x 80cm H.,
Cabinet: 52cm W x 60cm D x 44cm H.
- Weight: 100kg to 110kg depending on options.
Standard configuration:
- Station platform
- High-precision micromanipulators - micropositioners of magnetic probes with 80TPI screws for positioning probes at the micro level.
- Stereo microscope with a long focal length (digital camera - option)
- Magnification from 11x to 80x
- Insulated port for connecting probe station micromanipulators to instrument ports via BNC, Triax or Banana connectors.
- Static (DC) and high-precision measurements in an arbitrarily oriented magnetic field up to 0.6T.
- The field can be set and can be controlled in any of three modes: static field of arbitrary orientation and arbitrary value up to 0.6T, linear change of the field along an arbitrary spatial beam, arbitrary time profile of the field specified by the user.
- Use of a magnetic field up to 3 kOe (0.3 T). A more powerful field can be applied for a limited time.
- Model MPS-C-350 - upgrade of the probe station with the ability to use a field with a power of up to 6kOe (0.6T). A more powerful field can be applied for a limited time.
Magnetic fields
- Field orientation accuracy: ±1° for model 300 and ±0.1° for model 350.
- Field uniformity across a 10 mm diameter: 2% for model 300 and <1% for model 350.
- Field stability: better than 1% for both models.
