Nitrogen and hydrogen stations in containers

Nitrogen and hydrogen stations in containers

Nitrogen generators and electrolysis plants for the production of hydrogen by ErreDue SpA (Italy) and ENERGOAVANGARD LLC of the GN, EA, G series allow Users to reduce the cost of supplying their production with nitrogen and hydrogen by an order of magnitude - at the same time, the User produces as much nitrogen and hydrogen as he needs, and when he needs it. Also, the generators provide a constantly high quality of gas and save the User both from the danger of delays in the supply of nitrogen or hydrogen (which is not uncommon in the case of working with purchased gas), and from the need to constantly disconnect, move and connect cylinders or vessels with liquefied gas. Many enterprises of various branches of Russian industry are already using nitrogen and hydrogen generators supplied by us and have fully appreciated the reliability, modernity, ease of operation and maintenance, and, of course, the exceptional economic efficiency of our plants.

  At the same time, we have repeatedly received and continue to receive requests from potential users about the possibility of supplying nitrogen and hydrogen stations that are not tied to the premises of the enterprise and located in a separate block. We are pleased to announce that by the summer of 2011 we have completed the necessary activities for the development and design of such nitrogen stations, prepared technical specifications and certified them, and have already manufactured several containerized stations that are already successfully operated by our customers. Of course, we will be happy to offer a containerized nitrogen or hydrogen station to all enterprises that are interested in them in the future.

Description of the construction block container

The block-container is a special thermally insulated structure that surpasses analog products in all parameters and characteristics (insulated sea containers or change houses).

Possibility of manufacturing block containers of any geometrical dimensions along the length (3000/4600/6000/7500/12000×2300×2450) mm. The basic dimensions allow transporting block containers in the body of an on-board vehicle with a minimum side width of 2350 mm.

The frame-panel design significantly reduces the weight of the block container, while maintaining its strength characteristics. The frame of the block container is made of a special bent steel sheet with a thickness of no more than 3-4 mm.

The operating temperature of block containers is from -500С to +500С. This is achieved through the use of a three-layer sandwich panel with a thickness of 45 mm to 150 mm.

In terms of noise suppression characteristics, the block-container significantly exceeds imported noise-protective casings.

In the end walls of the block container, if necessary, removable technological hatches are installed to facilitate the installation of equipment and repair and restoration work inside the block container. For carrying out loading and unloading operations, four eyes (load grip) are provided in the block container.

The life support systems include the following systems:
autonomous power supply equipment:

  • closet for own needs;
  • input-output block;
  • internal cable network.
  • lighting system;
  • self-actuated powder fire extinguishing system with automatic closing of air inlet and outlet valves and ventilation shutdown;
  • compartment heating and ventilation system;
  • alarm system;

The block container is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 23274, and for the hydrogen station, follow the “Safety Rules for the Production of Hydrogen by the Water Electrolysis Method” approved by Gosgortekhnadzor of the Russian Federation dated June 6, 2003 No. 75.

Natural and climatic operating conditions:
snow region - I-V region (according to SNiP 2.01.07-85);

wind region - Ia-VI region (according to SNiP 2.01.07-85);

icy area - I-V (according to SNiP 2.01.07-85);

exposure to solar radiation up to 875 MJ/m2;

seismic impact intensity up to 2 points;
precipitation intensity up to 5 mm/min;

outdoor air temperature - from minus 500С to plus 500С;

humidity - up to 98% at +250С;

The degree of fire resistance of the container is I (according to SNiP 21-01-97).
 Fire hazard category - B4 according to NPB 105-2003.

The service life of the container is at least 15 years.
